Turkish company may build apricot processing plant in Batken
Trade Representative under the Ministry of Economy and Commerce of the Kyrgyz Republic in Turkey Chyngyz Toktobekov met with Hakan Cetin, owner of the Vesta dried apricot factory in Malatya, Kabar reports.

During the familiarization, the trade representative proposed to build a similar factory in Batken and expressed interest in processing and promoting to the international market apricots produced in Batken and Issyk-Kul Oblasts, the Ministry of Economy reported.
As a result of the meeting it was decided to familiarize in detail with the opportunities of the Kyrgyz Republic for processing and export of environmentally friendly products.
Vesta was built on a closed area of 5000 square meters for the production of dried fruits. It's owner Hakan Cetin has been engaged in production since 2002.
