Turkic countries to expand women’s cooperation and educational platforms

At today’s OTS economic integration and cooperation business forum, Chairwoman of the Council of Turkic Women Entrepreneurs under the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) Lazzat Ramazanova, suggested strengthening cooperation in women’s entrepreneurship and creating unified support tools for women-led businesses, Qazinform News Agency reports.

She noted the Council is already implementing initiatives, including educational programs and online platforms for women in the region.

Lazzat Ramazanova presented a new project to establish a framework for women’s business development and cooperation in Turkic countries, extending support to rural areas where women and children make up a large share of the population.

Its goal is to build a sustainable system of cooperation and share best practices among Turkic states.

As stated there, an online platform currently trains around 150 women, with plans to expand further and include business community representatives willing to share expertise.

Lazzat Ramazanova emphasized the need for institutional approaches, active involvement of the business community, and equal opportunities for women in the region’s economies.

She called on the Turkic Union to create products and position women’s cooperation not only through events but as a sustainable community.

Earlier at the forum, Kanat Sharlapayev urged faster digital integration among Turkic countries.

Earlier, on the sidelines of the forum, Kazybek Shaikh, President of the National Association of Cooperatives and Other Economic Communities of the Republic of Kazakhstan, stated that the OTS must strengthen its global competitiveness.
