Turkey supports Kazakhstan's initiative on holding OSCE Leaders' Summit in Astana

ASTANA. February 4. KAZINFORM Prime Minister of Turkey Recep Tayip Erdogan says he supports Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev's initiative on hosting the OSCE Summit in Astana, the press service of the Kazakhstan Embassy in Turkey informs. Mr. Erdogan noted it in his speech at a conference entitled "Place of Turkey in light of changing balance of forces" yesterday in Ankara. The conference was organized by USAK Strategic Researches Center.
"Europe has entrusted Kazakhstan with chairmanship in the OSCE that is why we should confide organization of the Summit to Kazakhstan too since its importance is evident. Kazakhstan's OSCE chairmanship is unique because this is the first Turkic-speaking country with dominating Muslim population and the first post-soviet country to head such authoritative international organization. Therefore I express my support to holding the OSCE Leaders' Summit in Astana", he stressed.
