Tulips - uniting symbol of two countries, Netherlands Ambassador

ASTANA. July 3. KAZINFORM - Majilis Chairman Ural Mukhamedzhanov met with Ambassador ERxtraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Netherlands Claas vann der Tempel today in Astana.
In connection with completion of his diplomatic mission of the foreign ambassador in Kazakhstan Ural Mukhamedzhanov expressed gratitude to the guest for his productive work in the republic.
Netherlands were one of the first countries that accepted the declaration of Kazakhstan's independence and assisted in promotion of Kazakhstan's candidacy for the OSCE chair, the Majilis speaker said, noting the active expansion of the contacts between the countries. The speaker emphasized the growth of goods turnover exceeding USD 5 billion and investments of Netherlands making 34% of all foreign investments made into the economy of Kazakhstan.
The parties discussed the events taking place in Kazakhstan and spoke for promotion of the partnership between the countries in a lot of spheres.
The foreign ambassador speaking about Astana said that the tulips in Astana are a uniting symbol of cooperation between the countries.
