Tsunami warning lifted, aftershock magnitude revised down

The aftershock jolted eastern, northeastern parts of Japan at 5: 16 p.m. local time (0816 GMT) on Monday and a tsunami warning was issued afterward.

The epicenter, with depth of 10 km, was in Hamadori of Fukushima Prefecture. Swaying was strongly felt in buildings in Tokyo, some 200 km south of Hamadori.

Two-meter tsunami waves are expected to hit the Pacific coast in Ibaraki Prefecture soon, the agency said, urging people to evacuate to higher locations.

Nuclear power stations in Ibaraki Prefecture were normal after the quake, operator said.

But there have been no immediate reports of damage or casualties.
