Treaty on Joint Board of Customs Services within Customs Union ratified by Kazakh Majilis

ASTANA. October 3. KAZINFORM Kazakh Majilis approved a draft law "On ratification of the Treaty on Joint Board of Customs Services within Customs Union" at a plenary sitting.
According to Kazakh Finance Minister Bolat Zhamishev, in accordance with the Treaty dated June 22, 2011 member states of the Customs Union constitute the Joint Board of the customs services of the CU member states.
The board will be headed by chairman elected from the leaders of the sides' customs services.
Coordination among customs services, participation in the forming of the CU unified legal framework, the uniform application of the CU customs legislation, unitized management of customs registration and control of goods and vehicles at the single customs territory of the CU are the key tasks of the Board.
