Treaty on encouragement and mutual protection of investments in EurAsEC countries ratified by Senate

ASTANA. June 22. KAZINFORM The Senate of Kazakhstan Parliament has ratified the Law "On ratification of the Treaty on Encouragement and Mutual Protection of Investments in the Eurasian Economic Community Member-Countries" today at the plenary session; Kazinform reports.
According to Minister of Industry and Trade Asset Issekeshev the Treaty is to create and ensure favorable conditions for the investors to make investments on the territory of the member-countries.
The document was signed December, 12, 2008 in Moscow following the results of the 22th session of the EurAsEC Interstate Council. The ratification of the Treaty will foster the integration processes, mutual trade and economic as well as scientific and technical cooperation.
