Transparency of business activity defines investment climate in country - Prime Minister Karim Massimov

ASTANA. June 4. KAZINFORM /Rasul Bakhamov/ The issue of transparency of business activity is of paramount importance for Kazakhstani companies for it plays a great role in creating investment climate in the country, Prime Minister Karim Massimov said at the IV Kazakhstan Investment Summit in Almaty today.
"Major principles - corporate governance, accountability, observance of the standards of accounting - underlay initially business activity in Kazakhstan. They must meet all international standards in order to join the London, New York or Hong Kong stock exchange", Massimov said.
As the Prime Minister noted, establishment of SamrukKazyna National Welfare Fund pursued a goal of development of new standards of governance and transparency of economy. "I think these factors are main components of our further development", K. Massimov said.
