Transfer of students from foreign to Kazakh universities will be possible only after passing UNT or comprehensive testing

ASTANA. April 12. KAZINFORM Kazakh Ministry of Education and Science has prepared a document under which students from foreign universities wishing to transfer to a university in Kazakhstan will have to pass a comprehensive testing of applicants, primeminister.kz informed.
"The Ministry of Education has prepared a document, under which students wishing to transfer from foreign to Kazakh universities are required to have a certificate of passing the unified national testing or comprehensive testing with appropriate grades," chairman of the committee for control in the field of education and science of the Ministry of Education and Science of Kazakhstan Serik Irsaliyev said in an exclusive interview for Primeminister.kz.
This will allow to prevent the transfer of students with insufficient knowledge from foreign universities and their branches to the domestic universities.
