Traffic halted at Paris’ Gare du Nord station after WWII bomb found

Rail traffic at Paris' Gare du Nord station has been halted after a World War II bomb was found near the tracks in Saint Denis, a town northwest of the French capital, Agenzia Nova reports.

The Sncfr, the French public rail transport company, announced it. The device was found last night during some work. This morning at the Gare du Nord there were many travellers who saw their trains cancelled.

Earlier, it was reported that the bullet train services have been halted in Japan for several hours after the cars decoupled.
