Toyota Group eyeing global output of over 10 mil. vehicles in 2014

NAGOYA. January 11. KAZINFORM The Toyota Motor Corp. Group plans to manufacture over 10 million vehicles worldwide in 2014, having almost certainly topped that number in 2013, a source close to the automaker said Saturday.
The group is also likely to target global sales of over 10 million vehicles in 2014, the source said. Toyota is likely to have become the world's first automaker to build 10 million vehicles in a single year due partly to brisk sales in overseas markets such as the United States and China, Kyodo reports.
