Tokayev congratulates Gitanas Nausėda on Lithuanian State Restoration Day
Kazakh leader Kassym-Jomart Tokayev extended his congratulations to President of Lithuania Gitanas Nausėda on the Lithuanian State Restoration Day, Kazinform News Agency has learnt from Akorda.
In his letter, President Tokayev highlighted that as an active member of the European Union, the Republic of Lithuania has made significant progress in strengthening its statehood and increasing the well-being of its citizens.
Kassym-Jomart Tokayev expressed his confidence that ‘the traditional friendly and trust-based relations between Kazakhstan and Lithuania will continue to evolve for the benefit of both nations’.
As earlier reported, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev is set to pay an official visit to the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan on February 18-19 at the invitation of King Abdullah II bin Al-Hussein.
