ASTANA. June 30. KAZINFORM /Muratbek Makulbekov/ Today we can be proud of our Leader of the Nation and the people. Majilis Chairman Ural Mukhamedzhanov has made it public at a joint session of the Houses, which complete the 4th session of the Parliament.
"Our Country's chairmanship in the OSCE in 2010 is a high appraisal of the international community of Kazakhstan's role in the world. Kazakhstan became the first one among the Turkic-speaking countries and Muslim states as well as among the Asian region and CIS states, who chaired this authoritative Organization," U.Mukhamedzhanov said.
He stressed that the real result of the OSCE Summit in Astana was adoption of the Astana Declaration, which has historic significance.
The Speaker noted that completion of Kazakhstan's presidency in the SCO and beginning of the country's chairmanship in the OIC will have great influence on improvement of Kazakhstan's authority in the international arena.
