Today's television offers average cultural product, Russian Minister

ASTANA. May 19. KAZINFORM /Serik Sabekov/ "Today's TV broadcasters offer the quite average cultural product," Russian Culture Minister Alexander Avdeyev told during the 8th session of the SCO culture ministers. "I would like to note, the low-grade products though there are exceptions," he noted.
"The TV broadcasters are guided today by ratings, advertisements not by high intellectual standards. They are motivated by perspectives to earn money on the most profitable advertisement. That is the big problem.," he said.
