Title sponsor of 7th Asian Winter Games 2011 defined
The Agreement on cooperation between the Executive Directorate of the Organizing Committee of the 7th Asian Winter Games 2011 and the Fund SamrukKazyna has been signed today in the Ministry of Tourism and Sport of Kazakhstan.
The amount of the sponsorship package made to KZT 3 bln. These funds will be allocated for solving organizing and technical problems and for holding all preparatory and sports events during the Games.
According to member of the Board of the Fund SamrukKazyna Kairat Aitkenov, the support to the Games the Fund provides is a strategic direction of development of competitiveness of the nation.
'The prior aim of the main sponsor is not in allocating funds but in positioning as a state fund. The Fund as an operator of state programs will execute it at the highest possible level. It is of the highest importance for us to give this impetus for development of mass sport in our country', K. Aitkenov said.
