Three soldiers escaped the military unit in Atyrau

ASTANA. August 22. KAZINFORM - From Atyrau military unit 20/16 ran away three conscript soldiers. They did it on August 20, and it has become known today from their parents who applied to the local media for help. One of the escapees, having called from the North-Kazakhstan region, had to ring up his parents and tell them that he and his two companions were constantly subjected to beatings.
The fact of the incident has been affirmed by the deputy assistant to the military prosecutor of Atyrau region Algatai Nurgazyuly. He explained that the soldiers had the opportunity to move freely in the military unit, what they used, to leave.
"Runaways were found in the city. They returned to the military unit and are continuing to serve. According to the fact of beating, which they said about, is under investigation. There is a forensic medical examination going on", said A. Nurgazyuly.
