Today, December 3, three Kazakh boxers are to compete at the ASBC Asian Elite Men and Women Boxing Championships in Chiang Mai, Kazinform News Agency cites Olympic.kz.
Makhmud Sabyrkhan will be vying vs Chinese boxer in the Men’s 54 kg category.
Aida Abikeyeva is set to face Dilfuza Bekova of Uzbekistan in the Women’s 63 kg category.
Another Kazakh female boxer Milana Safronova will fight against Chinese boxer in the Women’s 66 kg category
It was earlier reported that Kazakh boxer Ulzhan Sarsenbek (57kg) defeated Karina Vovk of Ukraine by unanimous decision, cruising into the ¼ finals of the ASBC Asian Elite Men and Women Boxing Championships.
