Three in ISU after major road accident in Kokshetau
Two passengers and a pedestrian are among those who was taken to an intensive care unit, Kazinform News Agency reports.
A video from the accident site became viral.
Several ambulance cars arrived at the crash site, and the street was cordoned off.
According to the regional police department, Mercedes and VAZ-2107 cars were involved in the accident which occurred on March 3, at the intersection of Auelbekov-Tashenov streets in Kokshetau.
“As a result, two female passengers of VAZ-2107 and a female pedestrian were hospitalized with various traumas. A driver of VAZ-2107 also applied for medical care. A girl born 2015 was taken to the regional multifunctional children’s hospital,” the police department says.
Meanwhile, local healthcare department informs, that the condition of one woman in the ISU has been stabilized, two more are in a severe condition. The women – passengers, aged 41 and 43, and a 68-year-old pedestrian – were brought to the hospital with multiple bone fractures and polytraumas.
Police department launched a pre-trial investigation.
Earlier, it was reported that four people died and one was injured in a road accident in Almaty region.
