Third Islamic Conference of Health Ministers adopted Astana Declaration and six resolutions

TANA. October 1. KAZINFORM /Askar Bimendin/ The Third Islamic Conference of Health Ministers concluded on Saturday with the adoption of the Astana Declaration and a number of important resolutions. Abdul Moiz Bokhari, Assistant Secretary General of the OIC, told a press conference in Astana.
"Today we have adopted six resolutions and Astana Declaration in order to further strengthen cooperation among the OIC member states on providing medical services within the framework of joint research and support programs for the prevention of risks," Bokhari said.
The Conference was attended by Health Ministers and high-level officials from the OIC member states and observer states. On the whole there were more than 400 participants.
