Thief, 19, struggles on arrest, stabs policemen in S Kazakhstan

SHYMKENT. June 14. KAZINFORM 19-year-old resident of the Sairamsk district suspected of a shop robbery stabbed policemen, press service of the Regional Internal Affairs Department says.
A man called the police tonight and said his shop in the town of Aksukent was robbed. The thieves stole a Nokia cell phone, a Samsung photo camera and KZT 10 000, the press service reports.
The police apprehended a 19-year-old suspect the same night. The young man struggled on arrest and wounded several policemen with a knife.
