There is no title higher than a teacher, President Tokayev
We must honor teachers who play an important role in our society, Head of State Kassym-Jomart Tokayev said addressing teachers, Kazinform agency reports referring to the Akorda press service.
The President noted that talented teachers form the best qualities of the entire nation. It is important to cultivate in young people the qualities of a Responsible Citizen - Adal Azamat.
The Head of State said it is crucial to instill knowledge, patriotism and hard work in schoolchildren. "Of course, this is not an easy task. More and more teenagers are falling under the negative influence of the Internet lately. Certain measures are now being taken to protect children from various threats. The “Integrated Education Program” has been developed, which takes into account the proposals and ideas expressed at the National Kurultai. The psychological support centres were opened at schools," the President said.
The Head of State said parents should also participate in educational work together with teachers.
He expressed gratitude to teachers for their commitment and hard work during the recent pandemic and floods.
Kassym-Jomart Tokayev said there is no higher title than a teacher. We should respect teachers who play an important role in the society since they lay foundation for the future of Kazakhstan and make great contribution to the country’s development. He said teachers’ efforts deserve to be respected and highly assessed.
