There is no corruption at Nazarbayev University, says Kazakh Vice PM

ASTANA. November 27. KAZINFORM There is no corruption at the Nazarbayev University, Vice Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Erbol Orynbayev told a Wednesday briefing at the Central Communications Service.
"Despite the fact that it [Nazarbayev University] strives to become of the world's elite universities, it is open to all. All students are enrolled and all teaching staff are employed based on their merits and achievements in the academic sphere; there is no foul play. The university is not corrupted and it is very important," the Vice Prime Minister stressed.
He also noted the Nazarbayev University has seven schools, each of which has its own international partners. There are nearly 250 foreign academic staff members and 1 200 students at the university. 536 students were enrolled in 2013-2014 academic year.
