ASTANA. October 15. KAZINFORM /Muratbek Makulbekov/ There have been significant advances in the work of the Ombudsman's institution over the past few years. Kazakh Ombudsman Askar Shakirov has announced it opening a conference entitled "Topical issues of interaction between Commissioner for Human Rights, state bodies and civil sector" in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
"There have been significant advances in the work of the Ombudsman's institution over the past few years. First of all, owing to the attention that the Head of the State pays to this institution", A.Sharipov said.
According to him, interaction with the state bodies and civil sector was especially successful.
He noted that the conference's topic is relevant in the context of consideration of the OSCE humanitarian dimension.
