The volume of electricity consumption lowered in Astana

"Following the results of the year after the old power equipment was replaced and energy saving policy was introduced as part of the investment program, the electricity consumption volume reduced at municipal sites in comparison with the year 2012", it is reported in the message. These results were summarized at an extended session with the participation of the deputy akim of Astana city Vasily Krylov. At the session they discussed results of the SME "Astana su arnasy" activity over the year 2013 and plans for the year 2014. As is noted at the session, they carry out works on inventory control of water and sewage service sites, with disposal of old networks and recognition of unowned constructions.

Besides, in the course of works great focus is laid on introduction of information technologies and technical equipment. Thus, in the year 2013 a car fleet of specialized vehicles was renewed, water networks were reconstructed, fire hydrants of European quality were procured, water-supply networks were reconstructed, as well as rundown water-supply networks were replaced.
