ASTANA. KAZINFORM "The so-called Islamic State has neither religious affiliation nor national identity," Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev said in his interview with leading mass media of Kazakhstan.
"There are no reasons for associating terrorism and Islam. Islam means peace. The so-called Islamic State has neither religious affiliation nor ethnic background. Look at the ISIS, the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant. Europeans, namely Englishmen and Frenchmen, are known to join it. Europeans, reps of Central Asia, Turkey and other countries are among its members. There is neither nationality nor religion," Nazarbayev stressed. According to the Head of State, terrorists are the people who follow some principles, who work for the sake of money. The whole world joins hands to combat terrorism.
