The Nazarbayev Euro-Asian Physics Centre project presented in Astana

ASTANA. KAZINFORM The project on the establishment of the Nazarbayev Euro-Asian Physics Centre was presented today at the VII Astana Economic Forum.

Scientific director of the Mediterranean Institute of Fundamental Physics, Professor Alexey Kavokin is in charge of the project. The centre is purposed to develop and realize scientific and educational projects to boost development and prosperity of Kazakhstan's economy, also develop alternative sources of energy, quantum and information technologies. The centre will be based in Rome and Astana. Young scientists of Kazakhstan will travel to Rome to undertake an internship under the chairmanship of leading European scientists-physicians and teach then at the universities in Kazakhstan. Besides, as part of close cooperation the world's leading scientists will arrive in Astana to deliver lectures.
