ASTANA. March 11. KAZINFORM /Rasul Bakhamov/ "The idea on holding the OSCE Summit in Astana was supported unanimously by the leaders of France, Italy, Spain, Romania, Turkey and other OSCE partners", Secretary of State-Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan Kanat Saudabayev has said at the II session of the State Commission on Kazakhstan's OSCE chairmanship.
Today the parties coordinate the dates of the summit which would be convenient for all 55 member countries of the OSCE. The negotiations regarding the theme of the forum are being held in Vienna on ambassadorial level at present.
Within preparation for the Summit an informal session of the OSCE Foreign Ministers Council will be held on June 10-11, 2010 in Almaty, Saudabayev said. It will focus on the agenda and the dates of the Summit.
