The tallies were aired at a press conference in Astana by the Alliance's director, Ildar Katenov.

"The campaign held by the Civil Alliance of Kazakhstan included over 20 major nationwide actions, 119 events in total, which were arranged by both public authorities and non-governmental organizations. According to our records, about 200 thousand people have been involved in the campaign during this year, "- I.Katenov said.

Republican campaign "Future Starts Today" was launched in Kazakhstan in February 2013. The Social action was carried out to support President Nursultan Nazarbayev's state-of-the-nation address"Strategy "Kazakhstan-2050": a new political course of successful state".

The campaign's main objective was to pool the efforts of all socially active Kazakhstanis to perform the goals set in the Address. The action reflected vibrant initiatives and achievements of the non-governmental sector and government agencies.

In 2014, the "Future Starts Today" national information campaign will continue, according to the CKA.
