Terrorist activities bear no relation to religion - Chief Imam of Imangali Atyrau Mosque

ASTANA. November 3. KAZINFORM /Andrey Sokolov/ "The recent terrorist activities of malefactors have no connection with our religion," representative of the Spiritual Association of Muslims of Kazakhstan in Atyrau, Chief Imam of the Imangali Mosque Nurbek-kazhi Yesmaganbet has announced.
"As is known, Islam is the last religion sent down to earth by God to bring peace and tranquility. The word "Islam" means peace and prosperity. A true Muslim is strictly against the war, bloodshed, any rebellion and suicide," Nurbek-kazhi Yesmaganbet said.
On October, 31, two explosions occurred in Atyrau. The first one happened in a courtyard of the regional akimat (administration), the second - near a five-storey residential building, where a 24-year-old male blew himself up.
