ASTANA. KAZINFORM - Tennis player from Kazakhstan Yuliya Putintseva has advanced into the quarterfinals of the tournament in Nurnberg by beating Dutch tennis player Kiki Bertens in three sets - 4:6, 7:5, 5:7.
The match lasted 2 hours and 56 minutes where the 90 th ranked tennis player from the Netherlands faced a tough opponent, 105 th ranked Yuliya Putintseva, Sports.kz informs.
Thus, Y. Putintseva advanced into the quarterfinals where she will have overcome the resistance of Italian Karin Knapp.
