Tengizchevroil to increase oil production up to 22.5 mln tons

ANA. October 5. KAZINFORM /Aigul Tulekbayeva/ Tengizchevroil plans to raise oil output from 21.5 mln up to 22.5 mln tons per year, Vice Minister of Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources Dusenbay Turganov has informed at the Government's telephone conference today.
According to him, there is still problem of burning gas in the volume of 37 mln cubic meters. An additional contract will be signed on this issue, the Vice Minister said.
Thus, as D. Turganov noted, the Ministry intended to reach the planned volume of oil production and processing.
"As for coal, by the end of the year we intend to raise the volume up to 92.7 mln tons per year", he added.
