BUENOS AIRES. KAZINFORM - Ten people have died after two helicopters collided during the filming of a television show in north-west Argentina, officials say.
Those dead were eight French nationals and their two Argentine pilots. Their identities are yet to be released. They crashed near the town of Villa Castelli, about 1,170km (720 miles) from Buenos Aires, according to local officials, BBC News reports. The passengers were reportedly involved in the reality series "Dropped". "Apparently there was a crash in which 10 people died. There were no survivors, according to the information we have," Cesar Angulo, La Rioja's security chief, told Reuters. One of the helicopters belonged to the provincial government. The cause of the crash is unclear. Officials have said the weather conditions in the mountainous area where it happened were good.
