Team Kazakhstan stun at 17th Asian Games in South Korea

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - So far Kazakhstani athletes have collected 18 medals at the 17th Asian Games in Incheon, South Korea, Kazinform has learned from Sports.kz.
Weightlifter Margarita Yeliseyeva, judoka Yeldos Smetov, women's trap shooting team and swimmer Dmitriy Balandin clinched gold. The 2010 London Summer Games stunner Zulfiya Chinshalo hauled silver medal in weightlifting. Judoka Maksim Rakov, men's judo team and swimmer Yekaterina Rudenko won silver as well. Kazakhstani sportsmen also took home 10 bronze medals. Currently Kazakhstan is ranked fourth in medal standings after China, South Korea and Japan.
