Tax Committee of Finance Ministry: Kazakhstan 17th in Doing Business-2013

ASTANA. July 23. KAZINFORM - Kazakhstan took 17th place in ''Doing Business-2013" rating by "Taxation" indicator , the press service of Finance Ministry Tax Committee reports in the press-release, disseminated at the board of the Ministry on the activities of Tax and Customs Boards with participation of Serik Akhmetov, Kazakh Prime Minister.

As noted in the document, Anuar Dzhumadildayev, the Chairman of the Tax Committee, will report to the Premier on simplification of tax administration in terms of public services provision in electronic form.

NOTE: “Doing Business” Report is an annual survey elaborated by the World Bank and it is aimed to measure simplicity of doing business in 185 countries on the basis of 10 indicators. The report focuses on evaluation of regulations governing the activities of small and medium-sized enterprises, and their practical application.

The report has been developed since 2003. Since 2005, the document has ranked countries' ranking on simplicity of doing business .

In addition, the Doing Business study does not just point out the problems that hinder the entrepreneurship's development, but also determine their causes and provide recommendations on the necessary reforms.
