Tajikistan, Kazakhstan step up flight connection

ASTANA. February 28. KAZINFORM Capitals of Kazakhstan and Tajikistan will establish flight connection, the Kazakh Transport and Communications Ministry reported.
The corresponding agreement was reached by the transport ministries of Kazakhstan and Tajikistan during the latest round of bilateral talks in Dushanbe. At first, Astana-Dushanbe flights will be performed twice a week.
In addition, Kazakh air companies now can fly from any international airport in Kazakhstan to four cities of Tajikistan at their choice: Dushanbe, Khujand, Kurgan-Tyube and Kulyab. Tajik air carriers, in turn, will perform regular flights to Astana, Almaty, Taraz and Shymkent.
As reported earlier, Head of State Nursultan Nazarbayev instructed to develop flight connection with other capital cities of the CIS member states.
