Tajikistan, Iran expand cooperation in energy sector
Tajikistan and Iran have discussed the issues of strengthening cooperation in the field of energy, Khovar reports.

The issues were on agenda of a meeting held between the Minister of Energy and Water Resources of Tajikistan, Daler Juma, and Minister of Energy of Iran Abbas Aliabadi in Tehran.
The sides exchanged views on implementation of joint projects and the opportunities of strengthening energy integration.
The ministers, who currently co-chair the Tajikistan-Iran Joint Intergovernmental Commission for Trade, Economic, Technical, Scientific and Cultural Cooperation, discussed the preparation for a regular meeting of the Commission, scheduled for the first half of 2025 in Iran.
The sides noted that the Commission plays a key role in strengthening the bilateral ties.
