Tajik foreign minister to visit Kazakhstan

It was revealed after the meeting between Kazakhstan's ambassador to Tajikistan Agybai Smagulov and Mr. Aslov. During the meeting the sides praised high level of political interaction between the two countries, and mutual support of regional and international initiatives. Relevant issues of bilateral political, commercial, investment, cultural and humanitarian cooperation were discussed as well. The sides expressed confidence that the upcoming official visit of the Tajik foreign minister to Astana will give a new impulse to the development of bilateral contacts and allow to touch upon the problems and prospects of the Kazakh-Tajik cooperation in bilateral and multilateral format. The Kazakh envoy also handed Mr. Aslov a letter from his Kazakh counterpart Erlan Idrissov thanking the Republic of Tajikistan for its support of Kazakhstan's candidacy for the temporary seat on the UN Security Council in 2017-2018.
