Tajik footballers outclass Azerbaijan at Kazakhstan President's Cup

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - Tajikistan's national team is celebrating its first win in the Kazakhstan President's Cup that is held at the Astana Arena these days, Kazinform has learnt from Sports.kz.
Tajikistan downed the Azerbaijani squad 2:1. It was Mukhammadzhan Sharipov of Tajikistan's team who opened the score. Azerbaijan's Emil Aliyev scored the equalizer in a minute. Khudoidod Uzakov scored the winning goal for Tajikistan in the end of the last period. Kazakhstan's national team is expected to play their first game of the President's Cup against Kyrgyzstan tonight. The match will start at 19:00 p.m. Astana time.
