Sweet festival held in Astana

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - The metropolitan Congress Hall's lobby has become a kingdom of pastry, cakes and other sweets. A festival of confectioners has taken place there today. Employees of over 20 enterprises engaged in confectionery production in Astana have represented their works there.

3 nominations were established at the festival. The jury had to make a tough decision, because all contestants showed high level of mastery. So, "Aprel" LLP has won in the nomination "The best cake". Nomination "The best design" has been given to "Michelle Bakery", and "Madlen" confectioner's shop has been awarded for the "Best confectionery". They all have been awarded with certificates and valuable prizes, astana.kaz reported.

According to the organizers, the main goals of this festival include popularization of confectionery art and improvement of metropolitan confectioners' mastery. Besides, the event was a great opportunity for confectioners to demonstrate their masterpieces, and all people who like sweets could have a sweet holiday, because a fair and tasting of confectioneries were held as part of the festival.
