Supreme Court discusses prospects of Kazakhstan court system's development

The roundtable brought together judges of the Supreme Court, members of the Constitutional Council, the Committee on Court Administration of the Supreme Court and the representatives of other state bodies and scientists-lawyers.
The court system of Kazakhstan fully meets the demands on providing efficient court protection of the citizens' rights and freedoms, the interests of the organizations and state. In this view specialization of the courts and judges, in particular, development of the juvenile courts, establishment of the specialized criminal courts will underlie its development. Tax and other specialized courts are expected to be established in future, the Concept reads.
Besides, as a result of improvement of the court system duplication of the functions by different court instances must be eliminated, the participants noted.
