Supreme Commander-in-Chief handed out colours to Ground Forces and Naval Forces of Kazakhstan

ASTANA. February 18. KAZINFORM /Kanat Kulshmanov/ As earlier reported the Ministry of Defense of Kazakhstan is holding an enlarged sitting of its board in Astana at present. Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Kazakh Armed Forces, President Nursultan Nazarbayev chairs the meeting.
Prior to the beginning of the sitting the Head of the State handed out the colours to the Ground Forces and Naval Forces of Kazakhstan.
The flags were received by Commander of Ground Forces Lieutenant General Saken Zhanuzakov and Commander of Naval Forces, Captain, 1st rank Zhandarbek Zhanzakov.
In his speech the Head of the State noted that "the oath sworn to the flag is a sign of honor and valor in all times and in all countries of the world. Namely under this colors the people of the country, soldiers, officers and generals defend their Motherland, its independence, territorial integrity and the future of the state".
