Stuttgart held Day of Kazakhstan’s economy

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - 22 October the capital of the federal state of Baden-Wurttemberg - Stuttgart has held the Day of Kazakhstan's economy themed "Development of Kazakhstan-2050 Strategy: state and prospects of commodity, industrial and technological partnerships in the framework of industrialization of Kazakhstan's economy", Foreign Ministry reported.

The forum was organized by the Embassy of Kazakhstan in Germany in conjunction with the Honorary Consulate of Kazakhstan in the city of Stuttgart, with the support of the Government of the Federal State of Baden-Wuerttemberg and the Eastern Committee of German Economy. The event was dedicated to the implementation of the tasks set in the President's Address to the Nation "Kazakhstan's Way - 2050: common goal, common interests and common future". The meeting was attended by over 100 leading representatives of official, economic, business and expert circles of Germany. The Kazakh side was represented by a delegation of the Ministry of Investment and Development of Kazakhstan headed by the executive secretary of the ministry Beibut Atamkulov. Deputy Minister of Finance and Economics of Baden-Wurttemberg Hartmut Reichl and CEO of the Eastern Committee of German Economy Rainer Lindner greeted the conference's participants. The Kazakh side briefed the attendees on the main provisions of the January President's Address to the Nation, as well as outlined the range of the most promising areas for mutually beneficial cooperation in the framework of the Partnership Agreement which was signed in 2012. The federal state of Baden-Wurttemberg is located in the southwest, east of the Upper Rhine. It is Germany's third largest state in terms of size and population, with an area of 35,742 square kilometres and 10.7 million inhabitants. Baden-Wurttemberg is the headquarters of such well-known brands as DaimlerChrysler, Robert Bosch, Hugo Boss, Porsche, SAP, Wurth Fischer, Knauf, Trumpf, and others.
