Strategy 2030: Kazakhstan's ship not deviates from its course - A. Issekeshev

Making a speech at the opening of the conference "Strategy 2030: way to sustainable development" Vice Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and New Technologies Asset Issekeshev noted that the strategic plan of Kazakhstan till 2030 became a guiding star for the state and taught not to deviate from the course.

"Seneca said: "If one does not know to which port one is sailing, no wind is favorable". And today, in terms of uncertainty in the global economy, global transformations, the Kazakhstan's ship did not deviate from its course.

The Vice Premier reminded that the first third of the "path" has already been passed successfully. Kazakhstan fulfilled the tasks set for first decade yet in 2008. The country's GDP was doubled in 2008. Fore 12 years the GDP increased six times from USD 22 billion to USD 134 billion in 2009. The volume of direct foreign investments in Kazakhstan reached USD 118 billion. The international assets of the country, taking into account the National Fund, exceed USD 57 billion.
