Strategic partnership between Kazakhstan and China to be announced today - Nazarbayev

"Owing to our relationships, we brought our cooperation to a high level. This year is very important for all of us. It is a year of the 10^th anniversary of the SCO, a year of the 20^th anniversary of our country's independence, the 90^th anniversary of the Communist Party of China," the Kazakh President said.

He noted that this state visit of Hu Jintao to Kazakhstan is the seventh and today there was held the 25^th meeting of leaders of Kazakhstan and China. According to the President, this shows what great significance China pays to cooperation with Kazakhstan.
