Storm leaves 65 injured in central Russia - emergencies ministry

MOSCOW. June 4. KAZINFORM Heavy rain and strong winds have left 65 people injured in central Russia, an emergencies ministry spokesman said on Thursday; Kazinform refers to RIA Novosti.
Gales swept across Russia's Central Federal District on Wednesday evening. Krasnozavodsk in the Sergiyev Posad District northeast of Moscow was reportedly hit hardest.
"Strong winds left 65 residents of the Central Federal District injured, of which 14 have been hospitalized. Most of victims suffered injures of moderate severity," the spokesman said, adding that no fatalities had been reported; Kazinform cites RIA Novosti.
