Storm alert issued for Astana city and 9 rgns of Kazakhstan

Storm alert has been issued for the Kazakh capital of Astana and nine regions of Kazakhstan for January 30, Kazinform News Agency has learnt from the Kazhydromet National Met Office.
The city of Astana, Akmola and Aktobe regions are to brace for fog, West Kazakhstan and Kostanay regions – blizzard, and Zhetysu region – fog and ground blizzard.
The greater part of Kyzylorda region is to see precipitation, mostly snow, and Almaty region – heavy snow at times.
Unfavorable weather conditions are predicted in Ust-Kamenogorsk and Ridder cities, while black ice is predicted in the west and south of Mangistau region.
