State to support enterprises meeting new approaches: A.Issekeshev

As earlier reported, the Kazakh President defined seven prior sectors of the economy at the congress of "Nur Otan" National Democratic Party last year. Upon the results of conducted analysis the Kazakh Ministry of Industry and Trade suggested five more sectors - engineering, uranium, light industries, space and tourism.

"Big projects in other sectors will be supported upon the results of analysis. In the topical sectors the Government will support only those enterprises that meet the new approaches", the Minister said.

Three new approaches are, first of all, modernization of the current enterprises, secondly, establishment of new high-producing plants that meet the world standards.

Additional support will be rendered to enterprises of the future economy - these are the projects in the IT-industry, alternative energy and others.
