Squall and precipitation to grip N Kazakhstan again

The Atlantic cyclone with squall and precipitation will grip North Kazakhstan region again in the nearest time, Kazinform News Agency reports.

According to Kazhydromet, snowfall is forecast in the region on December 29, while northern and eastern parts will see heavy snowfall. Snowstorm and black ice are predicted December 29-30. Gusts of wind may reach 23-28 meters per second. Wind speed in eastern and southern areas may exceed 30 meters per second.

Heavy precipitation, black ice and strong wind up to 23-28 meters per second, sometimes exceeding 30 meters per second, will hit the city of Petropavlovsk.

Two days ago, the same Atlantic cyclone caused power outage in tens of settlements, tore off buildings’ roofs and blew off cars from highways.
