Special linguistic centre to review bills in Kazakhstan

ASTANA. April 22. KAZINFORM /Damir Baimanov/ All bills drafted by the state bodies will undergo a linguistic expertise at a special centre to be opened soon in the Institute of Legislation of the Kazakh Justice Ministry. Vice Minister of Justice Dulat Kusdauletov said it at a roundtable meeting in Astana today.
According to him, many legal terms in the bills do not conform to their Russian equivalents or vise versa. 20 experts of the Centre will review the bills in order to authenticate the texts. As D. Kusdauletov added, the Government is preparing a special resolution now and is discussing the financial aspects.
"A common standard of translation of legal terms into the Kazakh language must be adopted", he stressed.
