Speaker of Supreme Rada Vladimir Litvin: Ukraine highly appraises experience of Kazakhstan valuable because of preserved peace and stability

ASTANA. September 15. KAZINFORM Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Vladimir Litvin and Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev discussed the state and prospects of economic, international and humanitarian cooperation between the two countries, Ukrinform refers to the press service of the Verkhovna Rada.

N. Nazarbayev said that the prior goal of his visit to Ukraine was to deepen economic relations and promote increasing of trade turnover between the two countries because the volume of trade turnover that made USD 3.5 bln over the past years was not considered sufficient.

He noted that the main spheres of cooperation between the two countries were agricultural machinery industry, agriculture, processing industry, power industry, scientific research and transportation. N. Nazarbayev informed about new Action Plan Ukraine-Kazakhstan for 2010-2011 that was approved at the highest levels regarding Ukrainian companies taking part in the Program of Industrial Development of Kazakhstan for 2020.

V. Litvin noted that Ukraine highly appraised the experience of Kazakhstan valuable because of the preserved peace, stability and what is the most important - the dynamics in the process of reforms.
